Gabe Finke serves as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Ascentris, a firm he co-founded in 2010.
From 2003 to 2015, he was Chief Executive Officer of Amstar Group and Amstar Advisers, the former name of Ascentris. During his tenure, the firm grew into a global real estate investor serving pension plans, insurance companies, private banks, funds of funds, and family offices as clients and co-investors.
Before Ascentris, Gabe was a Principal at The Carlyle Group and Senior Vice President of Prologis, where he led European real estate development.
Gabe graduated with highest honors in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and earned an MBA from Harvard Business School.
He currently serves on the board of Voyager Technologies (VOYG) and has previously served on the Georgia Tech Advisory Board, AFIRE, and the Harvard Business School Real Estate Alumni Association. He also served as Co-Chair of the annual PREA conference and was a member of YPO.

Rob Toomey serves as President of Ascentris, the company he co-founded in 2015.
From 1999-2015, Rob served in many roles at Amstar Group where he was responsible for sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, transaction and joint venture structuring, asset management, and dispositions of a portion of the company’s office, industrial, and multifamily investments across the United States. Rob also served on the firm’s executive and investment committees.
In 2010, Rob helped establish Amstar Advisers, the SEC-registered real estate investment manager that was formed to invest and manage the capital of retirement systems across the United States.
Rob graduated with a B.A. from Bates College. He is a member of PREA, past member of AFIRE, and an editorial board member of Institutional Real Estate, Incorporated. He resides in Denver, Colorado with his wife and two sons.

Tricia Noble is a Managing Director and Co-Founder at Ascentris, and leads the firm’s sourcing and partner relationship efforts. She also focuses on investing and managing the company’s real estate investments across the U.S., with a particular focus on investments in the East and Southeast regions of the U.S.
Prior to joining Ascentris, Tricia was a partner at Childress Klein Properties, a private developer in the southeastern U.S. At Childress Klein, she spent almost 18 years developing, leasing, and managing properties within the company’s industrial portfolio, and led and managed the company’s joint venture partnership efforts. Prior to joining Childress Klein, Tricia worked as an Analyst at the investment banking firm Bowles Hollowell Conner & Company.
Tricia earned a B.A. in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Tricia serves on the board of The Beach Company, and she is an active member of ULI (Urban Development Mixed-Use Gold Council) and NAIOP (Industrial Development II Forum). Ms. Noble is a past member of the Board of the Bucknell University Parents Association, the Board of Trustees at Colorado Academy, and the Executive Board of Horizons Colorado. She volunteers at Senior Support Services of Denver and the Women’s Homeless Initiative. Tricia resides in Denver, Colorado with her husband and two cockapoos.

Pat Kendall is a Managing Director and Partner at Ascentris, and is responsible for the company’s marketing efforts. He is also involved with new investments in the Southern California property markets.
Prior to joining Ascentris, Pat was Managing Director at Barings, a global financial services firm with over $306 Billion of Assets Under Management. While at Barings, he was responsible for business development and client relations in the western US for all the company’s real estate offerings. Pat joined Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers in March 2003, which merged with Barings in 2016. Before his role at Cornerstone, he was an investment officer with PM Realty Advisors located in Newport Beach and was also with CBRE for over 12 years located in Denver.
Pat graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S in Business, and earned an MBA from Pepperdine University.
He is based in Newport Beach, California where he lives with his wife.

Denis Curran serves as Chief Operating Officer at Ascentris, and focuses on investing and managing the company’s real estate investments across the U.S., with a particular focus on investments in the Central and Pacific Northwest regions of the U.S.
Prior to joining Ascentris, Denis was a derivatives trader with Infinium Capital Management, a Chicago-based hedge fund.
Denis graduated with a BBA in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Denis resides in Denver, Colorado with his wife and three sons.

Peter Savoie is a Managing Director at Ascentris, and focuses on investing and managing the company’s assets and partner relationships across the Western U.S.
Prior to joining Ascentris, Peter was the Chief Investment Officer for Miller Global Properties, a fund manager specializing in office and hotel investments. At Miller Global he spent over 16 years leading a team acquiring, financing, asset managing and disposing of assets across the western and southern U.S. Prior to Miller Global, Peter was with Cushman & Wakefield and its predecessor company, Cushman Realty Corporation for over 15 years.
Peter has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the University of Windsor and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario. He resides in Denver, Colorado with his wife.

Tony Breault is a Managing Director at Ascentris, and focuses on investing and managing the company’s real estate investments across the U.S.
Prior to joining Ascentris, Tony spent nearly 16 years at Oregon State Treasury as the Senior Real Estate Investment Officer where he was responsible for all aspects of the global real estate portfolio within the Oregon Public Employees Retirement Fund.
Tony also served as a member of the internal investment committee which vetted all partnership commitments across the various private market asset class portfolios. Prior to Oregon State Treasury, Tony was an Investment Manager at Schnitzer West and General Manager/Senior Consultant at Jones Lang LaSalle, where he oversaw various real estate investments in Boston, Hartford, Sydney, Australia, and Southern Florida.
Tony graduated with a B.S. from Jacksonville University. Immediately upon graduation, Tony was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Navy, where he served on active duty for eight years before retiring from the Naval Reserves with a combined 22 years of service. Tony is currently on the NCREIF PREA Reporting Standards Board, past Board of Directors of PREA, past Co-Chair of the annual PREA conference, and an editorial board member of Institutional Real Estate, Incorporated.

Jeff Higgins is a Managing Director at Ascentris and has been with the company since 2012.
Jeff has experience acquiring, developing, and managing multifamily, student housing, office, retail, and industrial investments. He is primarily responsible for managing existing investments and sourcing new opportunities in the Southern California and Arizona markets for Ascentris. Additionally, he oversees the company’s national student housing platform.
Jeff graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.S. in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance. He resides in Denver with his wife and two sons.

Baird is responsible the procurement of new opportunities and asset management of existing assets in the Texas markets (Austin, Dallas, and Houston). Baird joined Ascentris in 2018 after working on the capital markets team at Jones Lang LaSalle in Denver.
Prior to JLL, Baird was an analyst at J.P. Morgan's Private Bank, evaluating investment portfolios and managing banking relationships for high-net-worth individuals and foundations in both Denver, CO and Miami, FL.
Baird graduated summa cum laude from Florida State University and now lives in Denver with her husband, two children, and two dogs.

Dylan Drescher is a Senior Vice President at Ascentris and is responsible for evaluating new acquisition and development opportunities across office, multifamily, retail, and industrial property types with a focus on the Atlanta, Bay Area, and Salt Lake City markets. In addition to acquisitions and development, Dylan manages a portion of the Firm’s existing assets.
Before joining Ascentris full time in 2018, Dylan worked as a summer intern with Ascentris.
Dylan graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.S. in Real Estate Development.

Bennett Eldredge is a Vice President at Ascentris, responsible for evaluating acquisition and development opportunities and managing a portion of the firm’s portfolio across all property types, with a focus on the Charlotte, Chicago, and Washington, D.C. markets.
Prior to joining Ascentris in 2020, Bennett worked as a summer intern with Ascentris.

Pat Sanders is a Senior Associate at Ascentris, responsible for evaluating acquisition and development opportunities and managing a portion of the firm’s portfolio across all property types, with a focus on the South Florida, Nashville, and Southern California markets.
Prior to joining Ascentris in 2023, Pat was an associate with SomeraRoad, a real estate investment and development firm in Nashville, TN, where he was responsible for the acquisition, development and asset management of multifamily, retail and office properties across the firm’s portfolio. Pat graduated from Sewanee: The University of the South with a B.A. in Economics.

Payson Newman is an Associate at Ascentris, and is responsible for underwriting new acquisitions, evaluating development opportunities and managing a portion of the firm’s portfolio across all property types.
Prior to joining Ascentris in 2021, Payson worked as a summer analyst with Vornado Realty Trust in New York City.

Prior to joining Ascentris in 2022, Alex worked as a summer analyst with Berkeley Capital Advisors in Charlotte.

John Cryan is the Director of Finance at Ascentris, and is responsible for directing the firm’s daily financial operations, including the firm’s financial reporting, accounting, treasury, tax, and institutional reporting.
Prior to joining Ascentris in April of 2020, John worked at Citco Fund Services as a Senior Fund Accountant, serving private equity clients with investments in the business services, consumer, and energy industries.
John graduated with his B.S. in both Accounting and Finance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Cryan is a Certified Public Accountant and belongs to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Jackie Paladino is an Accounting Manager at Ascentris and is responsible for all financial operations, including the firm’s financial reporting, accounting, treasury, tax, and institutional reporting.
Prior to joining Ascentris in August of 2024. Jackie worked at IQEQ as a Senior Manager, managing a team servicing private equity clients with investments in the real estate, agricultural, and consumer industries.
Jackie graduated magna cum laude with her B.S. in Information Technology Management and Masters in Accountancy from Ramapo College.

Blake Dossett is a Senior Accountant at Ascentris and is responsible for all financial operations, including the firm’s financial reporting, accounting, treasury, tax, and institutional reporting.
Prior to joining Ascentris in 2025, Blake worked at Bank of New York as a Senior Fund Accountant, where he was responsible for financial reporting and reconciling trade activity for a public real estate investment fund. Blake worked previously in property accounting at the individual asset level.

Douglas Todd is a Senior Corporate Financial Analyst at Ascentris and is responsible for all aspects of financial and performance reporting to senior management, third-party index providers, consultants and clients.
Prior to joining Ascentris in May of 2023, Douglas worked at Urban Villages in asset management and development, where he was responsible for financial analysis, due diligence, and managing the cash flow for active development projects. Douglass previously worked at Ernst & Young as an Assurance Associate, serving real estate private equity clients with investments in multifamily, industrial, retail, and office assets.
Douglass graduated from the University of Denver with a B.S. in Finance and earned a Master of Accountancy.

Samantha Andon is an Accountant at Ascentris, and is responsible for all financial activities, including the firm’s financial reporting, accounting, treasury, tax, and institutional reporting.
Prior to joining Ascentris in July of 2022, Samantha worked as a Fund Accountant at Quantlab, a private trading firm, where she was responsible for financial reporting and trade operation reconciliations for the company’s investment funds. Samantha previously worked at Deloitte as an Audit Senior providing audit services primarily in the oil & gas industries.
Samantha graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas State University, where she earned a Masters and B.B.A in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Marc D. Soicher serves as Chief Compliance Officer and Human Resources Manager at Ascentris, and is responsible for personnel and benefits administration as well as required compliance concerning the firm’s registration with the SEC.
Prior to joining Ascentris in 2017, Marc worked for nine years as a FINRA Registered Representative under the Principal Financial Group. Also, in 2017, Marc founded the Soicher Benefits Group where he still serves as President. Prior to working in the financial services industry, Marc spent 30 years as an Emmy award winning sportscaster at WABC-TV in New York as well as KCNC, FOX Sportsnet and KWGN in Denver.
Marc attended Michigan State University where he earned a B.A. in Communication.

Zina Balash is an Executive Coordinator at Ascentris where she provides detailed and technical administrative support across a variety of disciplines. Zina manages a wide spectrum of corporate administration duties and projects, including administering compliance items, coordinating executive travel, and maintaining various other accounting duties.
In addition, Ms. Balash’s photography skills have proven to be a great asset to Ascentris, as she photographs company-wide events, property-specific projects, and even photographed Ascentris’ headshots.
Prior to Ascentris, Zina served as an Executive Assistant at Amstar Group for 11 years.

Lisa Carmichael joined Ascentris in September 2019 and brought with her over 40 years of experience as an Executive Coordinator. Lisa is responsible for supporting the Accounting team with primary focus on company expenses and Accounts Payable.
Prior to joining Ascentris, Lisa worked with real estate teams in both Colorado and Florida where she assisted the owner and multiple agents with their daily undertakings.
In her time away from Ascentris, Lisa enjoys visiting with friends and family and doing anything outdoors with her nine grandchildren.

Lisa Andriate is the Director of Company Experience at Ascentris. With a background in recruitment, program management, HR and logistics, she brings a wealth of diverse experience to our team.
Prior to joining Ascentris, Lisa ran an apprenticeship teaching program in Indiana and recruited software engineers for Google. Her experience spans the tech, education, and wellness industries.
Lisa attained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Education, and a minor in Legal Studies from Clemson University.
