Ascentris Welcomes Two Analysts, Commences its Summer Internship Program

Denver, Colorado (June 8, 2021)

Ascentris, a Denver-based real estate private equity firm, announced the hiring of Alex Lunde and Payson Newman and welcomed two college students for its summer internship program.

Both Mr. Lunde and Mr. Newman will serve as analysts responsible for underwriting new acquisitions, evaluating development opportunities and managing portions of the firm’s portfolio across multiple property types.

Mr. Lunde joins Ascentris from Blue Vista Capital Management, where he served as a portfolio asset management analyst. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate and Finance & Investment Banking.

Mr. Newman recently graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. Prior to his senior year, he interned at LivCor and Vornado Realty Trust.

Ascentris also welcomed Hamid Waraich, a senior at Cornell University, and Kevin Ford, a senior at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, who began the firm’s three-month summer internship program.
